Upon reaching home from my poly friends out, my parents were saying how well done was the Olympics opening... They were very impressed!
Fortunately when I stepped into the house, the torch also just stepped into the stadium. The last torch bearer was a surprise! I was amazed!!! Running in the air with the torch, chasing the background scroll, then eventually lighted the main Olympics torch. I feel was creative!! Then the fireworks came.... WOW!!!! The fireworks were not just in front of the stadium, its the whole area that were firing the fireworks... haha...
Just having a glimpse of some of the opening performance, it impressed me further! This may not eliminate the 耻辱 during 八国联军, but this definitely gain back some respect for the Chinese (华人)...
Just hope that this event can be conducted soundly... haha... Feel that this maybe the most political Olympics even had... haha...
