It was a inspiring evening...
Although I feel like joining my ex-Air Force colleagues for dinner, as I was tasked to be the Ah Counter for the evening so I was not able to join them for alittle while as I did not want to be late for the session... Sorry guys...
Saying of the Day: "A Leader needs to have integrity & vital communication skill." (something like that... Oops...)
We had a English teacher, Ms Joni this evening. She had pointed out the common pronunciation mistakes. Really learn a lot from her.
She pointed the common mistakes on words such as excellence, excel, guests, charisma, banana, umbrella etc... Still not too sure how exactly "excel" is to pronounce, but really find it interesting.
New word she suggested:
lackadaisical.... which means "bo chap"... (WOW!!! Really a BIG word! haha...)
First time as the Ah Counter... I feel rather uncomfortable as I am not really confident in myself whether can I do the a good job. Thank <>, sitting beside me, guided me... I believed I should be able to do a better job next time. Mr.<>, Thank You for your Guidance! Kind of ashamed, as a Ah Counter, speaking not more than a minute, I had 3 counts of Ahs... haha... Really have to put in more afford to reduce them...
Last but not least, Thank Ms. Helen Fong for her Chilli Crab... A wonderful supper time with u all...
